This year’s lineup is as follows:

Tickets can be purchased in advance here:

BONGRIPPER is one of the most well-known contemporary doom metal bands. The Chicago-based instrumental four piece has released six full length LPs over ten years, several split albums and seven inches as well as a live album and LP from the bands 2012 performance at the legendary Roadburn Festival.Known for its devastatingly bassy and crushing live sound BONGRIPPER infrequently perform outside of their native Chicago and are proud to announce their performance in Scorched Tundra as their exclusive European date for 2014 and only their second trip to continental Europe. BONGRIPPER’s most recent LP Miserable was released this summer 2014.

PYRAMIDO is hardcore act from Malmö founded in 2006. The bands’ third full-length release Saga was released in 2013, following a series of split 12” and 7” releases. PYRAMIDO have shared the stage with legendary acts such as NASUM, BLACK BREATH, EYEHATEGOD among others and have toured Europe multiple times. PYRAMIDO’s exclusive Scorched Tundra set will feature MONORAIL on keyboards, who can be heard on Saga.

ELDRIMNER will be making its sophomore appearance at Scorched Tundra Festival. Rooted firmly in black and progressive metal, this Gothenburg based quintet’s recently released EP Jag känner för dig received strong praise in the Swedish metal media, and was the follow up to the bands’ debut full length Inom Förloppet av ett liv (2012).

MONOLORD is arguably the most devastating fuzz trio active in Sweden. The bands debut effort Empress Rising (2014, Easy Rider Records) received wide praise from the European metal press. Picking up where SLEEP and ELECTRIC WIZARD leave off, MONOLORD creates its own space in an increasingly crowded genre, interspersing trippy vocals, earth rattling bass and an overall “fuzzed out landscape.” The band has recently also been confirmed to devastate crowds in Holland at Roadburn 2015.

YURI GAGARIN is the name of the first cosmonaut in space and also the name of an up and coming instrumental fuzz five piece from Gothenburg. Having recently released its debut self-titled album the band has since appeared at the Heavy Days In Doom Town Festival in Copenhagen and gigged across Sweden.

Scorched Tundra Festival is an annual metal festival held for the metal community of Gothenburg that has continued to support and churn out incredibly talented bands for over two decades. The festival is organized and operated by Pivotal Rockordings owner Alexi Front in conjunction with Sticky Fingers and Slavestate,se.
